Hiking with children in the region Schladming-Dachstein
Families will find in Schladming, Rohrmoos and Ramsau some very worthwhile hikes, which also enjoy children and young people.
Here are two examples of family trips.
Alpine trail Wilde Wasser - Riesach Lake
The starting point is the Riesach parking place in Untertal. First, it is along the Riesach Waterfall with its total height of 140 meters. After about 30 min you reach the suspension bridge of the Alpine trail "Wild Waters".
This climb requires sure-footedness and you must have a head for heights, it is suitable for children only with a limited extend but as an alternative to the hiking trail a forest road leads up to the lake.
The difference in height is approx 260 meters and you should schedule for the rise of about 1 hours time.
Nature and environment trail Sattelberg
On the tracks of "Kali - the Ramsaurier" leads a path through a high forest to the summit cross of the Sattelberg (1.253 m).
